Charles & Robin Paul Scholarship Award

This scholarship is available to Forsyth County adults (recent high school graduate or returning adult student) pursuing a degree, preferably attending or planning to attend Winston-Salem State University, to help students no matter where they are on their path to earning a credential.

Up to $2,000

Frank H. Samuelson Scholarship Award

This scholarship is available to adult students from Forsyth county returning to a recognized credential-producing program for an in-demand occupation at Forsyth Technical Community College and is in honor of Frank H. Samuelson for his leadership and dedication to the community.

Salem Glen College Assistance Program

This assistance program is for Forsyth or North Davidson County high school or adult students who plan to attend Forsyth Tech or Davidson-Davie Community College to improve their options for a higher-earning career. Scholarship recipients are also paired with a mentor to help navigate career prep and pursuit. This year's scholarship is being awarded in memory of Richard 'Dick' Bunker.

Rebecca and Danny Green Music Scholarship

This scholarship is available to West Forsyth High School seniors who have shown exemplary dedication and contributions to one or more music programs of WFHS and music program peers. Applicants may have plans to enroll in any degree or other credential-resulting program at an accredited educational institution. Pursuit of a career in music is not required.


The Mary Elizabeth Dodson Conrad Scholarship

This scholarship is for a Forsyth County high school senior or adult student, with financial need and seeking a degree or accreditation in the healthcare field. The scholarship is named in memory of Liz Conrad, her spirit, servant heart, and dedication to family and helping others.

The Wayne C. Matthews Continuing Education Award

This scholarship opportunity is offered to local adults of Yadkin County who plan to or are attending Surry Community College - Yadkin Campus to complete a credential-producing program leasing to an in-demand occupation. The scholarship is in memory of former Campus Director, Dr. Wayne C. Matthews, his life and contributions to Yadkin County.

Mason H. Hunter Vocational Educational Scholarship

This Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce scholarship will benefit area students seeking to continue vocational/occupational education and training from a 2-year or 4-year program. The scholarship provides financial assistance and a Chamber member mentor with opportunities for internships, references and more.

Leslie Martin Scholarship

There are 2 scholarships from the John E. Stewart Fund available for students enrolled in the finance academy and/or Rotary's Interact Club. The scholarships honor Ms. Leslie Martin for her impact on hundreds of young adults as they prepare for their educational journey.


Leslie Martin West Forsyth Early Scholars Program

This scholarship from the John E. Stewart Fund is available to West Forsyth High School Seniors who have been enrolled in the NC Career and College Promise Program to begin college courses while in high school.

Up to $2,500

Shore Scholars Program

The Shore Scholars program offers rising Juniors and Seniors at Starmount and Forbush High Schools financial assistance as well as a supportive peer group and a personal mentor to provide encouragement, guidance and other assistance toward the recipient’s career and life goals.


Clarence "Big House" Gaines Reynolda Rotary Scholarship

*Must have attended Cook Elementary School in Winston-Salem for at least 3 years to qualify. The application period for students attending Winston-Salem State has closed. Applications from students planning to attend Forsyth Tech can be submitted until May 31st at 12pm.

The Kim and Chris Henson Scholarship Awards

These 2 scholarships are available for high school senior student athletes at Reagan High School. One scholarship is for a student pursuing a career in the medical field; the second for a career in the education field. The scholarships are awarded in honor of the Henson's two daughters.


The Thad and Mary Bingham Education Assistance Awards

There are 2 scholarships available for West Forsyth High School graduating seniors and 1 scholarship available to an earlier WFHS graduate (adult student). The scholarships are named in memory of Thad and Mary Bingham.
